RAGBRAI, the Register\“s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is one of the oldest and largest bicycle touring events in the world. Due to its immense popularity, participation is determined through a lottery system.
The RAGBRAI lottery typically opens in late January or early February each year. Riders must register during the lottery period and await selection results. The lottery system ensures fair access to this limited-capacity event that attracts thousands of cyclists from around the globe.
Successful lottery applicants receive notification via email and must complete their registration by the specified deadline. Those not selected in the initial drawing may be placed on a waitlist for potential future openings. |
