Once upon a time in the bustling city of Jaipur, there was a poor bricklayer named Ram. Every day, he would labor under the scorching sun, laying bricks to build majestic buildings.
One day, while Ram was working, he found a shiny coin hidden under a pile of bricks. He took the coin and decided to spend it at the local market.
With the coin, Ram bought a colorful sari for his wife, Laxmi. Laxmi was overjoyed and danced in the streets, her beauty sparkling like the moon.
News of the magic coin spread quickly. The wealthy traders, intrigued, decided to test it themselves. But each time they tried to buy something expensive, the coin would magically disappear, leaving behind only a faint scent of jasmine.
The city\“s most powerful king, Maharajah Jai Singh, heard of the coin\“s magical powers. He summoned Ram and demanded to know the secret of the coin. Ram, however, had no idea and told the truth.
The king was disappointed but admired Ram\“s honesty. He declared that the coin would now be the national treasure, and its magic would be used to help the poor and improve the city. |
