Woody Harrelson remarks on Louvre heist sparks suspicion in Jesse Eisenberg
Woody Harrelson left his co-star clouded with suspicion after an in-depth response to the famous Louvre heist.
The Social Network star opened up about how he and his cast mates of Now You See Me has been centre of attention and been bombarded with questions about robbery that took place in famous Parisian Museum in broad daylight. Advertisement
During his appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, A Real Pain star joked about being taking by surprised from the detailed responses to the questions his co-star Harrelson has given to press.
“It was really funny. We were doing press yesterday... we were all joking around, \“Oh, yeah, it was us!\“ And then Woody Harrelson came out with a very specific set of tools that he would use to do that,“ he said.
Revealing what Harrelson said, Eisenberg added, “And we were all sitting there — \“What is an acute grating saw? What are you talking about? How do you know this stuff?\““
Trying justify The Hunger Games star’s in-depth heist knowledge, host Fallon asked, “He knows it from the movie?“ he asked. To which Eisenberg quipped, “No, he knows it from maybe doing that.“
Paris\“ Louvre Heist
On October 19, thieves targeted the gallery in famous Parisian museum known as Galerie d’Apollon, home of French crown jewels.
The three thieves used a ladder-lifter and smashed the window the gallery stealing eight priceless jewelleries in seven-minutes and escaped in broad daylight.
Seven people have been arrested in connection to the Louvre burglary as of Thursday. However, the stolen jewels have yet to be recovered.
