Saudi Arabia unveils first ultra-luxury ‘Dream of the Desert’ train at FII9
Saudi Arabia’s first five-star luxury train, Dream of the Desert was unveiled at the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (F119) conference in Riyadh, marking another significant step forward for the Kingdom.

In this connection, Paolo Barletta, CEO of Arsenale, said, “Dream of the Desert is a moving masterpiece born from the dialogue between Italian craftsmanship and Saudi vision.“
The train will offer 31 private suites and two presidential suites, accommodating a maximum of 66 guests.
The train’s interiors will captivate the audience with features inspired by the Saudi topography, including rich wood cravings and custom Murano glass lighting that evokes traditional oriental lanterns.
In line with the remarks of Saudi Arabia\“s Minister of Transport and Logistics services and chairman of Saudi Arabia Railways, the display of the luxury train accentuates the spectacular performance of the Kingdom\“s railway sector and its progress toward offering exceptional experiences.
The new development, which will feature its inaugural journey lasting one to two nights, will depart from Riyadh and cross approximately 1,300 km of existing railway lines.
This project reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to high-end tourism and infrastructure development. |
