The dawn of futuristic smart living is upon humanity with the launch of Neo, the world’s first consumer-ready humanoid robot, designed by the Robotic firm 1X.
The Neo humanoid robot will be available from next year to automate household chores and offer personal assistance at home.
The robot will also be useful in organizing shelves, folding laundry, managing dishes, and setting reminders, helping people to retrieve their time for themselves.
Users can control Neo robots with the click of a button or a verbal command. It can also autonomously perform some tasks, including fetching items, switching off and on lights, and opening doors.
Bernt Børnich, CEO of 1X, told The Wall Street Journal that the Neo humanoid robot that consists of an AI neural network needs more real-world training.
Therefore, it is important for the customers who will preorder the robot to agree to a contract: a human operator from the firm will remotely peer into their homes through the robot\“s camera to guide the machine to perform more tasks autonomously.
“If we don\“t have your data, we can\“t make the product better,“ he said. |
