Fresh off the buzz of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, the duchess is now believed to be developing her very own makeup and beauty range under her growing lifestyle umbrella, American Riviera Orchard.
And while her previous projects often featured husband Prince Harry by her side, this one appears to be a strictly Meghan mission.
A source told OK!, “She’d love for Harry to be involved in whatever she’s doing, but that’s not how it’s played out so this is something she’ll have to do by herself. She’s prepared to go it alone and will stop at nothing to make a success of it.”
Insiders say Meghan, has taken a page from Victoria Beckham’s playbook, the pop star who turned a personal brand into a global fashion force.
Since stepping back from royal life in 2020, Markle has been busy crafting her next chapter and it looks like it’s about to get a whole lot glossier.
Now firmly planted in California soil, the Duchess of Sussex is gearing up to expand her growing empire with a beauty line and if the whispers are true, it could be her most ambitious move yet.
Public relations expert Dermot McNamara told the outlet that Meghan’s latest pivot is right on brand, “Meghan has always been strategic when it comes to brand building.
The US has embraced her as a lifestyle tastemaker, and launching a beauty line would be a natural next step. In many ways, she’s channelling the blueprint of women like Victoria Beckham and the Kardashians, who’ve turned their personal image into global empires.”
The speculation hit fever pitch last week when Meghan was spotted rubbing shoulders with fashion mogul Kim Kardashian’s inner circle.
Emma Grede the powerhouse behind Skims and Good American posted snaps from a glitzy all female summit in Los Angeles, where she was seen sipping her very own As Ever Sauvignon Blanc.
If Meghan’s aiming to become the next big name in beauty, she’s clearly playing in the right league and doing it with her signature sparkle, strategy, and a side of Chardonnay.
The Duchess has been dropping subtle hints about a move into the beauty world, recently sharing clips of herself casually applying lipstick though fans were quick to notice the brand name was cleverly concealed.
According to PR expert Dermot McNamara, the slow reveal is no accident.
“By doing her own makeup and showing it online, she’s repositioning herself as relatable, hands on, and creative all traits that resonate with beauty audiences in 2025,” he explained.
And he’s not wrong. Meghan’s polished yet personal approach has her followers watching every brushstroke.
“Fans buy into personality as much as product,” McNamara added. “And the Duchess is taking ownership of both.” |
