Just last month, in fact, photos of the actor fueled ongoing cosmetic discourse, with several internet users sharing their theories around her so-called “new face.”  Variety / Getty Images
Back in 2023, Jen addressed the plastic surgery rumors head-on, telling Kylie Jenner during a conversation with Interview magazine that her facial changes were simply down to makeup and aging. Jb Lacroix / Getty Images
“I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30, and I’m like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging.’ Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, \“I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up,’” she said.
And now, in a new profile with the New Yorker, Jen has discussed the cosmetic work she has had done. During the interview, the actor explained that she has avoided getting fillers because they show on camera. She does, however, get Botox, though she’s still able to use her forehead when acting. Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer noted that she’s planning on getting a boob job in November, ahead of filming an upcoming nude scene next spring. Amy Sussman / Getty Images
And when asked why she’s getting the procedure, Jen explained that “nothing bounced back” after she gave birth to her second child earlier this year, in March — three years after she and her husband, Cooke Maroney, welcomed their first. Gilbert Flores / Getty Images
Jen filmed a fully nude fight scene in the 2023 film No Hard Feelings, which was shot after she welcomed her first child.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back,” she shared before noting that she would still undergo the surgery even if she wasn’t acting. “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way…But I think yes,” she said.
