For context, the couple secretly tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in 2018; however, they held a second ceremony in South Carolina the following year, which was as glamorous and star-studded as you’d expect. Kendall Jenner stunned in a black-and-gold dress with thin straps, while her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, shone in a metallic one-shoulder gown with asymmetric cutouts that showed off her legs and bust. As beautiful as she looked, Kylie’s dress sparked some serious backlash at the time, with some suggesting it wasn’t entirely appropriate for a wedding. And now, six years later, Kylie has looked back on the divisive dress during a sit-down video with Vogue. Vogue / Via youtu.be
“I think people were, like, a little upset that I went all out,” Kylie began, acknowledging the years-old discourse head-on. “They didn’t care. I don’t think,” she said. “Hailey, call me if you have an issue,” she added, giving a shoutout to her pal.
As for whether she has any regrets, Kylie defended herself, but admitted that she’d maybe do things differently today. “I probably wouldn’t wear this now to someone’s wedding,” she said, “but I think I had the impression that, like, people were gonna be just going all out.” Vogue / Via youtu.be
