Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff are legendary American songwriters and record producers who founded Philadelphia International Records. They are widely credited with creating the Philadelphia soul sound, also known as Philly soul, in the early 1970s.

Their production style was characterized by lush orchestral arrangements, deep bass lines, and driving rhythms. They worked with iconic artists such as The O\“Jays, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, and Billy Paul, producing timeless hits like \“Love Train\“, \“If You Don\“t Know Me by Now\“, and \“Me and Mrs. Jones\“.
