  ‘F1’ Director Teases what is next for Brad Pitt’s Character

Joseph Kosinski shared his thoughts on the future adventures of Brad Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes from F1.

During his appearance at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles for the film’s screening, Kosinski\“s while looking back at the last days of filming revealed that actor was quite miserable on wrapping up the film, as Pitt enjoyed driving and filming real-life Formula 1 races.

Konsinski said that he and his team let Pitt “do a a few more laps at the end of the last take just because I knew he loved it. I think it was emotional for him to say goodbye to this character because he really loved playing him.“

However, the Oblivion filmmaker also teased that this may not be the last time Pitt will be play Sonny.  

“would love to see what adventures Sonny Hayes is going on to next, and I think the audience would too,“ he admitted. “So we\“re actually gonna start talking about that very soon, start kind of coming up with, \“What could that next chapter of his story be?\““
