 Queen Camilla gallops back to her love of horses
Queen Camilla may no longer be in the saddle, but she’s proving that a love for horses never truly fades.

Royal style blogger @royal.fashion.daily highlighted her choice of knee high black suede Russell & Bromley ‘Dressage’ boots, a quiet tribute to her former love of horse riding.
Much like Princess Anne and her late mother in law Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla is a devoted fan of horse racing, regularly attending events like Royal Ascot.
While Camilla revealed during a state visit to Germany in April 2023 that she is “too old” to ride anymore, explaining to schoolchildren in Hamburg that she “sadly can’t ride any longer,” her style choices and race day appearances show that her equestrian spirit is very much alive.
This year alone, she has carefully chosen pieces to honour wartime heroes at a Second World War memorial, express appreciation during the state visit of US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania, and even highlight her affection for her non royal grandchildren through a thoughtfully selected necklace. |
