  Prince Edward takes the helm of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh made a memorable impression during their recent visit to Monaco, culminating in a royal meeting with Prince Albert and Princess Charlene.

After attending a glamorous gala dinner at the Yacht Club de Monaco on Sunday night, the Edinburghs were welcomed at the Princely Palace.  

The encounter was marked by warm conversation, mutual respect, and a shared celebration of the enduring friendship between Monaco and the United Kingdom.

Duchess Sophie embraced a chic and breezy style for her Monaco visit, seemingly shelving her winter coats for the occasion.  

She was spotted in white ankle skimming trousers paired with a short sleeve floral blouse and heeled espadrilles, exuding effortless elegance.

Her summery outfit offered a striking contrast to Princess Charlene’s sharply tailored suit, highlighting the duchesses’ differing yet equally stylish approaches to royal dressing for the Principality meeting.

King Charles has placed immense trust in his younger brother, Edward, entrusting him with the title and patronage once held by their late father, Prince Philip.

At the heart of this responsibility is The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award （DofE）, founded by Prince Philip in 1956 to inspire young people to develop skills, resilience, and self-belief.  

The programme encourages participants to take on personal challenges, pursue their passions, contribute to their communities, and discover talents they never knew they had.
