Baccarat Card Rules Explained
Baccarat is a popular card game played in casinos worldwide. The game involves comparing cards between two hands: the “player“ and the “banker“. Each baccarat coup has three possible outcomes: player wins, banker wins, or tie.The card values in baccarat are unique: Aces count as 1, cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value, and 10s and face cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as 0. The total value of a hand is the sum of all cards modulo 10, meaning only the last digit of the total is considered.
Natural wins occur when either the player or banker is dealt a total of 8 or 9 from the first two cards. If neither has a natural, additional cards may be drawn according to specific rules. The player draws a third card if their total is 0-5 and stands on 6 or 7. The banker\“s decision to draw depends on both their own total and the player\“s third card value.
