Lindsay Lohan and family channels Gotham’s Dark Knight this Halloween
AdvertisementLindsay Lohan kept Halloween fun and super this year, giving fans a sweet peek at life with her young family.
On Friday, Oct. 31, the actress shared a rare photo of her son Luai on Instagram Stories, posing alongside husband Bader Shammas.
All three dressed in coordinated Batman-style costumes, with Lohan leaning into a Batgirl-inspired look while Shammas and their 2-year-old little one twinned as Batman.
The trio smiled behind their matching masks, marking a special holiday moment together.
Lohan has been selective about posting her son online since welcoming him with Shammas in 2023, so the new snapshot came as a welcome surprise for fans.
Last year, she admitted she’d been dreaming up Halloween plans for Luai’s first spooky season.
Speaking with PEOPLE in early October 2024, she joked about struggling to settle on just one look, saying, “I\“m still trying to decide what I want him to wear, but my problem is I always buy so many costumes. And he\“s still at the age where I can just make him wear five different things because I just want all those photo memories.”
This year, the matching family-costume direction seemed to win out, three versions of the same superhero instead of multiple outfit changes.
Lohan has also embraced finding her balance as a parent. She once playfully referenced Amy Poehler’s Mean Girls line, saying, “I\“m a both mom… I\“m a regular cool mom.”
The Freaky Friday actress and Shammas welcomed Luai in 2023, and she’s continued to enjoy every milestone.
While chatting with PEOPLE at the 2025 Los Angeles premiere of Freakier Friday, she shared how quickly he’s growing, saying he “has a new milestone every day.”
The family’s Halloween moment offered a simple, joyful slice of life — and proved that even a superhero costume can feel extra special when worn together.
