The Prince of Wales is now part of the “advanced talks” that are finally going to kick out Prince Andrew from his lavish 30-room mansion Royal Lodge for which he had a 75-year lease on. Advertisement
Per the agreement, the Crown Estate is obliged to reimburse Andrew should he decide to end his lease.
Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner claimed that Andrew is looking for an “undisclosed compensation” from King Charles which would be in millions.
However, this time William is making sure that there is no turning back for Andrew.
“Prince William will want a watertight agreement that Andrew cannot renege on,” he told Fox News Digital.
Ian explained that Andrew wants “respect and support for his two daughters, allowing them to continue their royal work and charity patronages” even if his own titles are removed.
The disgraced former Duke is also looking for a “financial settlement” for his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who had been living with him for years despite their divorce in 1996.
She also contributed to the repairs and renovations of the Windsor property.
The expert stated that Andrew hopes to continue his personal and business affairs “without any further interference or involvement with the royal family”.
Although the royal family had the power to deny the request and not grant Andrew anymore perks. Given William’s stern stance for his uncle, it is unlikely the Andrew would be given freedom to conduct any more shady business right in the vicinity of the royals.
