Considering all of this, people definitely had a lot to say about Ms. Rachel\“s callout:
On Reddit, one user said, “If billionaires were going to save us, everyone on the planet would have enough food, affordable housing, clean air and clean water.“
Another user said, “If I had 100 million I think I would run out of things to buy before running out of money. Like house, car, new furniture, new top of the line electronics, pay off all debts and that\“s still only like 5 million max and that like 90% house. I\“m not even sure how i would spend much more other than regular elaborate vacations that still probably don\“t top 100k. So 5% of 100 million and I\“m living in luxury. A billion is 10x 100 million.“
“One of the most depressing realizations of my adult life was how many people truly lack empathy. I mean, to an extent that they can\“t even fully understand it as a concept.
